Do you want to make some extra cash in your spare time? Paid Surveys can be a great way to make a few bucks every day on the side. I’ve written a lot about the usefulness of getting paid to give your opinion on thecouchcommute and today I want to break down what the best paid survey websites are in 2020.

You’re not going to get rich but you can make money online every day just by using these websites.

Swagbucks

Why Sign Up? Click here and Get free cash just for signing up. Once you create a Swagbucks account and start taking surveys you can earn 10 bucks. Not a bad deal. Swagbucks is one of the most reputable and longest serving paid survey websites out there. They have paid out hundreds of millions in cash, gift cards, and other rewards over the course of their existence.

Rewards: Cash, PayPal Withdrawals, Vouchers, and Coupons. They have great deals on Amazon gift cards but I normally go for the PayPal option. Get cashback for online shopping purchases as well which is a nice added bonus.

Ways to Earn: Surveys, Watching Videos, Surfing the web, Games, Microtasks and more.

Best Paid Survey Websites 2020

How Much Can I Make: $5 – $10 USD an hour or more depending on the surveys you happen to qualify for that day. To date, members of Swagbucks have earned over $400,000,000 in rewards…damn.

Swagbucks is just so consistent with the number of surveys they offer and I don’t find myself getting screened out as much as other websites. Each survey takes around 10 minutes to complete and you’ll find yourself averaging around $1 or so for every survey. The fact that they offer compensation to those who get screened out of surveys is another nice benefit. Sign up to Swagbucks through the link above and get a free offer (up to $10) just for joining. Offers can change, so there is no guarantee that the offer will be running when you sign up.

Vindale Research

Why Sign Up? One of the lesser-known and quite frankly one of the most underrated online money making websites out there is Vindale Research. They offer high paying surveys ($25 for 55 minutes of your time) which can equate to some pretty decent side cash. They pay out through PayPal as well which means transferring your earnings is fast and easy.

Ways to Earn: Surveys, panels, referring friends ($5 for each referral)

Rewards: Cash out directly to your PayPal account. Fast and easy.

High Paying Surveys offered at Vindale Research

How Much Can I Earn? Vindale has some of the highest paying surveys I’ve found so far. Even their lowing paying surveys hover around the $3 – $6 range. It will, of course, vary from user to user, but on a good day you could easily hit $20 – $30 an hour. They aren’t as widely known as some of the others on this list, but they certainly are legitimate and I highly recommend giving them a shot if you’re looking for a higher paying survey website. Sign up for a free Vindale Research account.

MyPoints

Why Sign Up? Insanely high payouts! Make up to 50 dollars a survey with Mypoints. The higher paying surveys can be hard to get in to and you might find yourself getting screened out a lot, but the potential to make some serious bank is there.

Ways to Earn: Surveys, Activities, shopping online, Reading E-mails, Finding Deals.

Rewards: Cash, Gift Cards, Travel Miles

How Much Can I Make? If you manage to qualify for high paying surveys you can make $50 or more per hour. This is not likely to happen often so expect to make the same as Swagbucks and earn around $4 – $6 an hour. Sign up for a free MyPoints account here.

best paid survey website paidviewpoint

Ways to Earn: Surveys and bonuses (Get paid for filling out profile details during the registration process.) Seriously, I made $1 just for taking 2 minutes to fill out my personal information and send a quick verification text. Pretty sweet!

Ways to Earn: Take surveys and give your opinion. PaidViewpoint is one of the most unique and user friendly survey websites I have used in a while. They incorporate a nifty feature called “trait score” which is a metric that measures your reliability. Your goal is to raise your trait score to over 9000 which will unlock higher payouts for every answer you give. It definitely breaks the mold of a traditional paid survey website and it works well.

Rewards: Get paid Directly to your PayPal account, Wal-Mart Gift Cards, Amazon Gift Cards.

How Much Can I Make? Well, you can earn $1 just for completing the 2-minute registration process. After that, it depends on how many questions you have available to answer. Make a few cents for every 10 questions which works out to maybe 30 seconds of work. Expect to make a few bucks here and there and you won’t be disappointed.

Telluwat

Why Sign Up? Get 100 points just for confirming your email, not a bad start. Telluwat has over 700,00 registered members and the daily rewards are always worth it. Trusted by many and recognized as a go-to for any paid survey lover. Sign Up Here

Ways to Earn: Talke or even create surveys to earn points that can be redeemed for cash and rewards. The best part is a lot of the surveys offered are short so you spend more time getting paid and less time answering questions.

Rewards: Mainly gift cards (Amazon, Best Buy) and pre paid Visas. You can also exchange points for products. (Currently, they have tablets that cost 200,000 points)

How Much Can I Make? Like most paid survey websites, expect to make a few bucks here and there. You need to have at least $15.00 in your balance before cashing out.

Prolific

Why Sign Up? Prolific is focused more on social sciences and academic studies rather than product research, so the studies tend to be much more interesting which makes them a whole lot less monotonous to complete and they accept international users. It’s run by the University of Oxford which adds to the legitimacy. Create an account here.

Ways to Earn: Academic studies, personality quizzes, basIC and interactive studies. The surveys on prolific are known as studies and are mostly academic in nature. You’ll be answering questions about your personality and how you’d behave in certain scenarios. I had a blast with some of the studies and it’s a nice change of pace from answering a gazillion questions about the types of soda I drink. Studies aren’t available often though and a lot of the time your queue will remain empty (biggest drawback, if not for this Prolific would be one of the best out there)

Rewards: PayPal only. Withdrawing your money is simple and is processed fast.

How Much Can I Make? Prolific is operated out of the United Kingdom which means they pay out in GBP (Great Britain Pound). The exchange rate of the pound is often a lot higher when compared to the USD. As far as how much you can make an hour goes, probably not a lot. Like I mentioned before, studies are sparse and don’t show up often. When they do show up expect to make $2 – $5USD per completed study.

Tips for Success and Maximizing Your Income

Now that you’ve signed up to a few paid survey websites you might be asking yourself, where do I even begin?

Taking some surveys is the obvious answer, but there are some things you can do to make sure you’re making the most of each website. Here are a few things to consider:

Pay attention to the estimated time and payout of each survey. Make sure you are not spending 55 minutes doing a survey that only pays out $2. Instead, focus on the surveys that offer the highest hourly payout. A 10 minute survey that pays $2 is better than a 50 minute survey that pays $3.

I would avoid watching videos for money. A lot of these websites will offer you the chance to watch random youtube videos or videos on other streaming websites in exchange for cash. The amount you’ll make here is so small that you could run these videos 24 hours a day and end up losing money from the cost of the electricity it takes to run your pc. We’re talking pennies an hour here. It’s just not worth the time.

I know cash is king and most will redeem their points for PayPal deposits, but if you’re using Swagbucks consider the Amazon gift cards. You can get $5 Amazon gift cards for 450 ($4.50) which makes them the best value.

Sign up for multiple websites. Having accounts on more than just one survey website is a good way to ensure you’re always getting the most money possible. Making money online is a bit of a grind, but it always feels worth it when you cash out.

Trade Facebook or social media for a survey website. No, you don’t have to drop social media entirely to be successful, but a while back I found that I was always wasting time on Reddit or Twitter while I ate lunch so I decided to trade those time sucks for one of my favorite survey websites. So, every day, for an entire month I used Swagbucks to take surveys while I ate lunch and I was able to cash out more than $200 at the end of the month. It’s a fun challenge and I’d recommend trying it.

There you have it. I feel like this list is a great place to start for anyone who is looking to start earning extra money online every day. I’ll update and add to it as I find websites that I enjoy or feel could be useful. If you have any questions you can contact me at [email protected]
