Get Paid Online for Loving Music

Do you find yourself spending hours on Spotify every day listening to your favorite bands?  If you’re looking to make some side money reviewing music online or making money listening to the Radio,  you’re in luck.  I’ve compiled 3 of my favorite websites that will pay you to listen to music.

I also found a great website that will actually pay you to add an artist’s music to your Spotify playlists (Playlist Push), now that’s pretty cool! You can also sign up with them to promote your own music as well if your an aspiring artist. They actually pay users to add and share your music throughout Spotify so you can get noticed. If you’re an artist looking to promote your own music you should definitely check it out.

How does Getting Paid to Listen to Music Online Work?

Well, the basic gist of it is you listen to a song, and write a small review about what you liked or disliked.  Each website will have their own unique approach, but this is essentially what to expect.  Once you listen to a song, and provide a short opinion, you’ll be compensated. SlicethePie is a well known website for paying users to review music.

If it’s not a music review website, you will generally make money just by listening, or sharing.

You just made money listening to music!

I mean, I was more than happy listening to music for free, but this is a game changer.  I listen to music all the time, so why not get paid to do it?  Its a pretty sweet concept, and it’s websites like this that really get me excited.  I love having the opportunity to make money online using methods that don’t really feel like work.

I listen to a song, and then take 60 seconds to jot down a quick review. Easy peasy, you won’t get rich, but you can build up a nice little balance, and you’re making money entirely online so whats not to love here.

Alternatively, you can just get paid to let music play in the background on the Radio.  Passive income with a side of your favorite music genre.

So, lets take a look at some of my favorite websites that you can visit to start earning money listening to music.

Make Money Listening to Music or Get Paid to Listen to the Radio

1. PlaylistPush – Monetize Your Spotify Playlists

Are you a Spotify or Apple Music user?  If so, you can use PlaylistPush to make money from your Spotify and Apple music playlists

You can sign up with them as a curator, and artists will pay you to review their songs, and add them to your playlist.  Create a new account as a curator, and start getting paid to add songs to your playlist.

I’m not a big Spotify user, but I could see myself using this website much more if I was.  PlaylistPush is a side hustle with a lot of earning potential.

How Much Can You Make?

You can make a decent amount with this one, and get paid $1 – $12 per song review.  They pay directly to your PayPal account for your convenience.

If you’re someone with a lot of Spotify followers or tons of playlists, you should seriously consider signing up with PlaylistPush as a curator.  It’s completely free!

Alternatively, Artists can use it to promote their music, and begin finding an audience.  Sign up here if you’re an Artist, and use PlaylistPush to promote your music.

2. Slicethepie

Slicethepie is one of my favorites on this list.  It’s an extremely easy to use and simple platform that will pay you to review music.  Best of all, the more you use the platform the higher your pay will be.

You’re assigned a star rating, and as you begin reviewing music your rating will change.  Become a 5 start reviewer, and start to make some serious side money listening to tunes.

Choose which genres you enjoy so that you don’t get stuck listening to music you hate.

Listen to a randomly selected song and state your opinion.   Three senetences is normally sufficient, and all in all it takes about 90 seconds to write a quick review.

Watch your spelling and grammar!  A review filled with grammatical errors can negatively effect your reviewer rating.  Once you’re finished click submit another song automatically plays.

If you get tired of reviewing music you have the option to review mobile apps and fashion for money.

How do I get Paid?

Once you have accumulated $10 in your balance you can withdrawal directly to your PayPal account.  Payments take up to 5 working days to process, but don’t worry, this website is as legitimate as they come, and you’ll receive a payment for the music you’ve reviewed.

Make certain the email address you sign up with is the same as your PayPal account, or you’ll have some trouble cashing out.  They pay in US dollars, which is nice.

How Much Can You Make?

Honestly, your getting paid to listen to music, so you’re definitely not going to get rich.

When I first started they were paying me anywhere from $.01 to $0.14 per song review.  If you’re not enjoying the song, you have to ability to skip it after 90 seconds and still get paid.  So, I’d say it depends, maybe $3 – $6 bucks an hour?

It’s something I do here and there for fun, and then maybe cash out $20 every couple months.  Its “no work, work” if that makes any sense, and you’re really getting paid for maybe 3 sentences outlining if you enjoyed the song or not.

A super easy and really fun way to make some extra money online.  Get paid reviewing music online, create your account here.

3. RadioEarn – Get Paid to Listen to the Radio

Get paid while listening to the radio.  Yep, you can just have the radio playing in the background while you earn money.  If that’s not the definition of easy money, I’m not sure what is.

If you happen to own a website there is the option to integrate their platform for your readers to use.  Each time one of your visitors tunes in you’ll receive a commission.

So, you can either earn yourself, or earn from others listening.

How You Earn Money Listening to Music with RadioEarn

Every 15 minutes you’re account is credited with points which can be converted to US dollars.  Every month a payment can be requested, and is sent directly to your PayPal account.  (Edit:  It looks like they are having trouble recently, but they claim it is temporary.  I’ll leave this one on the list for now)

No reviewing or typing necessary.  The amount you can earn with this will obviously not be much, otherwise the entire world would be rolling in money from radio plays.  Still, it’s a neat concept, and it truly is passive income.

How Much can You Earn

Maybe 3 bucks an hour if you’re lucky.  I work from home, and listen to the radio throughout the day while working.  If you’re in a similar situation you could listen on RadioEarn and make some sweet passive income just by listening.  I love the concept, and it actually works.

This is a great option for international users, with many country supported.  Full list of supported countries:
